Sunny competed at the 2019 World Junior Championships in Klaeppen Sweden, where he placed 46th in the Slopestyle and 82nd in the Big Air events.
At the 2018 National Junior Championships in NZ, he placed 8th in the Halfpipe and 15th in the Slopestyle.
More recently, Sunny achieved a top 5 finish at the 2019 Australia New Zealand Cup in the Big Air.
