ABOUT NIKKI
Growing up in Montreal Canada, Nikki was inspired from an early age to compete in Ice Hockey.
When her family moved back to Australia in 2015, Nikki joined the Northern Ice Hockey Association and started the sport for fun. Since then, Nikki has had huge success in her sport, winning bronze at the 2017 U13 and 2019 U15 Australian National Championships, bronze at the 2019 AWIHL and fourth in the 2019 U18 Women World Championships.
More recently, Nikki secured the highest qualifying score in the world's women's ranking for the Lausanne 2020 Individual Skills Test.
The qualifying test involves athletes skating back and forth on the ice and shooting a total of 6 pucks, attempting to complete the test as quickly as possible, with as little errors, in order to qualify themselves a spot at the Youth Olympic Games.
Nikki completed the test in 30.25 seconds, a massive 0.31 seconds faster than the next best girl.
