ABOUT CHELSEY

Chelsey started cross country skiing in 2016 and moved across to Biathlon in 2018.

She loves the challenge of Biathlon racing, having to maximise your heart rate and ski as fast as possible to the next target, and then bring calmness to your body and shoot five targets as accurately as possible.

Competing in Biathlon for the very first time in early 2019, Chelsey has so far achieved incredible results in her short career.

She finished third in both the sprint and distance events at her first domestic competition, the 2019 Victorian Biathlon Championships. She also achieved a third place at the 2019 Australian Biathlon Championships. 

The Australian Olympic Committee acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of this nation.
