Amber trains with the Perisher Winter Sport Club, with her coach James Barbe-Winter.
She is also a member of the Australian Emerging Talent Program. In 2019, Amber placed 9th overall at the Australian New Zealand Cup, 7th at the Ski Copper USA Noram and 11th at the Panorama BC Noram event.
