Trent's Story

At age 15 Trent Franklin decided that water polo would be a good cross between the two sports he was participating in - swimming and baseball. Since 2001 he was a regular starter in Australian sides and a huge point scorer for the Sharks. Franklin was awarded an AIS scholarship in 2002 and competed for the Sydney University Lions. He played shooter/ counter attacker at two Olympic Games - Athens 2004, placing ninth, and Beijing, placing eighth.
