Susan's Story

Victorian Susan Chapman teamed with Susan Lee (cox), Karen Brancourt, Margot Foster and Robyn Grey-Gardner to win bronze in the coxed fours in 1984. It was Australia’s first Olympic medal in women’s rowing. Chapman would later win a silver medal at the 1986 Commonwealth Games in the same event. Her Olympic team-mate Robyn Grey-Gardner was also part of that crew.
