Steven's Story

1976 -

Steven Dewick was a member of the men’s 4x100m medley relay team that won a bronze medal in Atlanta. From Sydney, Dewick swam the backstroke leg in the final, getting Australia off to a solid start in the race. He also had two individual swims, the 100m and 200m backstroke events, but failed to reach the final in either. The other relay members were Toby Haenen, Michael Klim, Scott Miller and Phil Rogers. Dewick also won a gold and silver medal at the 1994 Commonwealth Games. He has stayed involved in the sport as a coach.
