Scott's Story

Scott Robertson began diving as a five-year-old. Accustomed to 7th or 8th place at nationals, Robertson increased his training regime and was rewarded with two silver medals and an international debut in 2002. Robertson won gold in the 3m synchronised and bronze in the 1m at the 2005 Australian Youth Olympic Festival before he hit the 10m platform and broke both of his ankles.

Robertson returned stronger than ever and in 2007 became national champion in three events and scored five 10’s on his 'back three and half somersault' to win the platform event. Robertson made his Olympic debut in Beijing and finished in eighth place. In 2010 Robertson won a bronze medal in the 1m at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
