Sandra's Story
Slim built slugger Sandy Lewis is a triple Olympian. Lewis competed in the bronze medal winning team in Sydney in 2000 but broke her wrist during the first game. Lewis then won silver at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games and went on to win Softball’s Female Athlete of the Year award in 2007. Lewis broke 300 caps during the Beijing Olympic Games, making her only the fourth Australian female to do so. Lewis won her third Olympic medal, another bronze in 2008.
