Sally's Story
Born and raised in Hebei, China, just south of the home of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, Sally Zhang moved to Australia when she was 19. After helping the Australian team to bronze at the 2014 Commonwealth Games she qualified for the team event for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Lining up alongside Jian Fang Lay and Melissa Tapper, Zhang lost her match in straight sets as the team went down 3-0 to North Korea.
