Rowena's Story
At 21 years of age, Rowena Bright competed in alpine skiing at the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City. She contested the slalom (DNF) and the super combined (24th) Her best result was a 14th placing in the Combined at the 2001 World Championships in St. Anton. The year before at the Junior World Championships, Bright finished 10th in the combined and 16th in the slalom.
Bright is the older sister of Olympian Torah Bright, who won a gold medal in snowboarding at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.
