Rhonda's Story
1966 –
Rhonda Cator, from country Victoria, competed in badminton at Barcelona 1992, Atlanta 1996, and Sydney 2000. Badminton was first officially played as an Olympic sport at Barcelona.
Cator competed in women’s doubles at all the Olympics, singles at Barcelona and Sydney and mixed doubles at Atlanta and Sydney. Her best performance was reaching the women’s doubles quarter finals, with partner Anna Lao, at Barcelona.
She was the badminton Section Manager at Beijing 2008. At five Commonwealth Games she won four bronze medals.
