Rowing Women's Single Sculls (W1x)
Pippa Savage was born in Moree and was talent spotted by Richard Paterson when she was 21. Paterson began coaching her in 2002 and in 2008 Savage won the Final Olympic Qualification Regatta in Poland. The 27 year old raced at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and finished tenth in the women’s single scull.
