HAVE A GO AT OLYMPIC SPORTS
Pauline's Story
Victorian Paulina Frasca made her Australian senior rowing team debut in 2005 and won the World Championships that year as part of the women’s eight. Frasca took a short break from the sport but returned in 2007 to claim back-to-back victories at the Australian Rowing Championships Queens Cup 2007-2008. Frasca was part of the women’s eight at the Beijing Olympic Games, which finished in sixth place.
She competed at her second Olympic Games four years later in London, this time in the quadruple sculls. Alongside compatriots Dana Faletic, Kerry Hore and Amy Clay, the crew finished second in their heat and then qualified for the final after winning the repechage. The Aussies were fourth at each 500m mark, and the finish line, coming in just behind the USA crew who claimed bronze, with Ukraine winning gold and Germany claiming silver.
