Nicole's Story

1967 –

Long jumper, Nicole Boegman competed at three Olympic Games, Seoul 1988, Barcelona 1992 and Atlanta 1996, five world championships and three Commonwealth Games. At the Olympics, she had two top-8 finishes, a fifth at Seoul and an eighth at Atlanta. 

She won the Commonwealth Games gold medal at Victoria, Canada in 1994. At the world championships, she also had two top-8 finishes, eighth at Rome in 1987 and seventh at Stuttgart, Germany in 1993. Boegman won 10 titles (eight outright) at the Australian track and field championships.
