Matthew's Story

Starting out as a Track Cycling World Champion, Matthew Goss switched his allegiance to road cycling in 2007 and a year later won the green jersey, handed to the best sprinter, at both the Tour of Britain and Herald Sun Tour in Victoria. The sprint finisher won his first stages at a major tour in 2010 when he took out the ninth stage in the Giro d'Italia and the first stage at the Vuelta a España.

Having won the Milan-San Remo Classic in 2011, Goss was one of Australia’s contenders in the London 2012 Olympic road race. Goss finished amid the peleton in 85th position.
