Marcus's Story

Marcus Fraser, who turned pro 2002, made an impressive Olympic debut at the Rio Games.

With his best mate caddying for him, Jason Wallis, Fraser finished fifth at golf made a return to the Olympic Games for the first time in 112 years.

Fraser, the halfway leader, could not sustain his early blistering form in the final two rounds.

He closed with a second consecutive one-over par 72 to tie for fifth behind gold medallist Justin Rose of Britain, silver medallist Henrik Stenson of Sweden and bronze medallist Matt Kucher of the USA.
