Leith's Story

1986 - 

Leith Brodie swam in the heats of both freestyle relays at Beijing 2008. In the shorter event, Brodie and Patrick Murphy were replaced for the final by Eamon Sullivan and Ashley Callus who joined with Andrew Lauterstein and Matt Target to claim the bronze medal behind the United States and France. The 4 x 200 metres relay saw Brodie and Kirk Palmer replaced by Grant Hackett and Patrick Murphy to swim with Grant Brits and Nick Ffrost in the final where another bronze medal was won, behind the United States and Russia. Brodie also made the semi-finals of the 200 metres individual medley. At the 2005 world championships, Brodie won a bronze medal in the 4 x 100 metres relay.
