Goalkeeper Lachlan Dreher represented Australia at three Olympics, winning a medal each time. He won a silver medal in 1992 and bronze medals in 1996 and 2000. Dreher and Damon Diletti, who also represented Australia from 1992-2000, formed a formidable goalkeeping tandem for Australia during the medal run. Recognised for his agility and dexterity in front of goal, Dreher was also a part of four winning Champions Trophy teams.
