Kyle Davis debuted at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games at the age of 19. By that time the Victorian had already won 36 national titles and during 2007 he was ranked No. 2 in Australia. In 2007, Davis competed in the Australian Youth Olympic Festival where he finished fourth in the men’s doubles and fifth in the teams event. Davis competed in the singles and team events in Beijing, with a best result of ninth in the team.
