Kenneth's Story
1961 -
Ken Wark represented Australia in men’s hockey in three consecutive Olympics, starting in 1988. He won two medals: a silver medal in 1992 and a bronze medal in 1996. From Sydney, Wark was part of the revival of Australia’s fortunes in men’s hockey at the Olympics. The Barcelona medal was the first medal won by the Kookaburras since 1976. However, the team has won a medal at each Olympics since 1992, highlighted by a gold medal at Athens 2004.
