Karen's Story
1954 –
At Mexico City 1968 the 14-year-old Karen Moras bravely battled the rarefied atmosphere to finish fourth in the 800 metres freestyle and then third in the 400 metres, both times behind the triple gold medallist in the women's events over 200 metres, Debbie Meyer of the United States.
