Joshua's Story

Joshua Ross competed at his first Olympic Games in Athens when he lined up in the 100m, finishing fifth in round 2 and 20th overall. He went on to become Australia’s third fastest sprinter of all time behind Matt Shirvington and Patrick Johnson, recording a personal best of 10.08 in 2007. The six-time national champion returned to Olympic competition in 2012 where he made the Olympic final as a part of the Australian Team in the men's 4x100m relay. The Australians awarded sixth place (USA DQ in 2015) behind the Jamaican champions anchored by Usain Bolt.
