Jason's Story

Jay Stacy is a four-time Olympian for Australia and one of the greatest hockey players of his generation. He made his Olympic debut in 1988 as a 20-year-old, with the team finishing fourth. The Victorian won medals at each of his next three Olympics: silver in 1992 and bronze in 1996 and 2000. His speed, strength and scoring ability made him a focal point of Australia’s attack. He retired as Australia’s most capped international player, representing his nation a record 319 times. He has since been involved in coaching at an elite level.
