HAVE A GO AT OLYMPIC SPORTS
Adelaide-born James Troisi scored a goal on debut for the Australian U/23 side at the 2007 Olympic qualification tournament. Troisi received a scholarship in the Newcastle United youth team in England in 2005 and secured a professional contract with the club in 2007. Troisi was 20 when he played for Australia at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. The Australians finished in 11th place.
