Swimming Women's 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay

 

Jade's Story

Having won bronze in the 200m freestyle at the 2011 Australian Championships, Jade Neilsen gained selection for the 2011 World Championships . Neilsen swam in the heat of the 4x200m freestyle relay and the Australians went on to win silver in the event.

At the 2012 Olympic Trials Neilsen finished fifth in a fierce 200m field to secure a spot at her first Olympic Games in London. Competing in the heats of the 4 x 200m freestyle relay, Neilsen helped the team qualify for the final before her compatriots went on to win the silver medal.
