Hockey Women's 12-team Tournament
Born in Toowoomba but living in Perth, Hope Munro (nee Brown) shared her Olympic debut with her younger brother, Kiel Brown who was playing for the Kookaburras. Munro was 27 when she was chosen in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Team. The midfielder was a part of the Hockeyroos gold medal winning performance in the 2007 Good Luck Beijing, Olympic Test Event before the Australians finished fifth at the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008.
