Darren's Story

1972 -

Darren Balmforth joined with Simon Burgess, Anthony Edwards and Robert Richards in the lightweight four at Sydney 2000. The same Australian crew had finished third and second respectively at the previous two world championships and Balmforth, Burgess and Richards were in the winning lightweight eight, coxed by Brett Hayman, at the 1997 world championships.
