Daniel's Story
1951 -
In winning silver medals at Munich 1972, Danny Clark, John Nicholson and Kevin (Clyde) Sefton won Australia's first Olympic medals in cycling since Melbourne 1956. Clark's medal in the time trial was an event that Australian men have won the most medals (two gold, three silver and two bronze). After Munich, Clark's cycling career, primarily as a professional, continued for almost another two decades, during which time he won numerous world titles and international six-day events.
