Clare-Louise's Story
Clare-Louise Brumley made her Olympic debut at the Torino 2006 Olympic Winter Games, finishing 42nd in the cross country 15km pursuit event. She made her World Cup debut in Beitostoelen, Norway, at the start of the 2005/06 season in November, finishing in 67th place. The following week she improved to 61st place in the same event in Kuusamo, Finland, this time registering her best FIS points in a World Cup or World Championship event with 96.2. She had contested her first World Championships the season before, a 49th place in pursuit her best return. She also skied to 51st place in the 10km freestyle and 60th in the sprint.
