Athletics Men's 50km Race Walk
A bronze medallist at the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games in the 50km walk, Chris Erickson made his Olympic debut at the Beijing 2008 Games. Unfortunately Erickson was disqualified in his event, the 20km walk. He returned to Olympic competition in 2012 in London, this time completing the 20km race and finishing in 38th place.
Erickson qualified for the 50km event for Rio 2016 where he finished tenth as teammate Jared Tallent claimed the silver medal.
