Brooke's Story
1974 -
Triple Olympian Brooke Wilkins won three medals, one at each of her Olympic appearances with the Australian softball team. The pitcher won bronze medals in 1996 and 2000 and a silver in 2004. Wilkins was a vital member of the Australian team for more than a decade, being part of the potent pitching squad that was rated as equal to any in the world. Her three medals stand as testimony to her talents and commitment to the team. Only three players, Natalie Ward and co-pitchers Tanya Harding and Melanie Roche, participated in more Olympics for Australia than Wilkins.
