Brittany's Story
Brittany O'Brien made her Olympic debut in the women's 10m platform in Rio, after London 2012 silver medallist Brittany Broben was forced to withdraw due to injury.
The Sydneysider finished second overall in the 10m platform at the 2016 National Championships, behind Olympic medallist Melissa Wu.
In Rio, O’Brien placed 17th in the preliminary round to make it through to the final. She then competed consistently in the semi-final where she finished in 15th overall.
She finished 12th at the 2014 World Junior Championships in the 10m platform. O’Brien went on to finish fourth at both the 2015 Grand Prix in Kuala Lumpur (10m platform synchronised) and the 2016 Grand Prix in San Juan, Puerto Rico (10m platform individual).
