Diving Women's Synchronised 3m Springboard
In the synchronised platform diving at Beijing 2008, Briony Cole teamed with the 16-year-old Melissa Wu to win the silver medal behind Xin Wang and Ruolin Chen from the all-conquering team of Chinese women divers. Both athletes on Olympic debut produced Australia’s best ever result in synchronised diving. In the synchronised springboard, Cole and Sharleen Stratton finished fifth.
