Brendan's Story
Brendan Cole made his Olympic debut at the London 2012 Games having already competed in the 400m hurdles at the 2006 (5th) and 2010 (6th) Commonwealth Games. At 30 years of age he contested the 400m hurdles in London finishing second in his heat after clocking a personal best of 49.24 seconds. He missed out on the final after finishing fifth in his semi-final. He backed up to compete in the 4x400m relay team that finished fifth in their heat.
