Bradley's Story
Bradley McGee competed at the four Olympic Games from Atlanta 1996 through to Beijing 2008.
Only from his last Olympics did McGee return without a medal - an agonising fourth in the team pursuit and ninth in the individual.
McGee is the only Aussie cyclist to win medals in the individual pursuit at three Olympic Games and had won more track cycling medals than any other Australian, until Anna Meares won her sixth medal at Rio 2016.
Off the track, McGee was a stage winner in the three great European tours, the Tour de France, Vuelta a Espana and Giro d'Italia. He retired from racing in October 2008 to take up a manager role with his pro team.
