Bodi's Story
Having got his first chance in senior competition two years earlier, Bodi Turner had a breakout year in 2015 as he finished his first senior World Championships in 14th and secured his first World Cup podium in Sweden. The Queenslander began the Olympic year on home soil competing in the national series before making it through to the semi-finals at 2016 World Championships.
He got his chance to make his Olympic debut in Rio and was ranked 13th after the time trial. Turner finished 6th, 8th and 4th in his quarter-final to miss out on the semis and finish the competition in 20th.
