Shooting Men's 10m Air Pistol

 

Blake's Story

 Pistol shooter Blake Blackburn began shooting with his grandparents when he was 12. A decade on and he secured his first senior national title when he won the 10m air pistol event to see him qualify for the 2014 Commonwealth Games where he finished 14th. 

Blackburn won the 2015 Oceania Championship while winning his second national title and would go on to get selected to make his Olympic debut in Rio. Blackburn shot a qualification score of 570 to finish the 10m air pistol event in 36th.
