Arina's Story
After taking up tennis at age three, Arina Rodionova made her Olympic debut in Rio, partnering her sister Anastasia in the women’s doubles. They were one of nine pairs on the 2016 Team.
They took on Russians Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina, going down in two sets 6-1, 6-2.
The right-hander, who was born in Tambov, Russia, was granted Australian citizenship in January 2014.
