Anthony Martin, from Western Australia, competed in the super-heavyweight weightlifting at Sydney 2000. He was the first indigenous weightlifter to represent Australia at the Olympic Games.
Anthony is a member of the Aboriginal and Islander Sports Hall of Fame.
The Australian Olympic Committee acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of this nation.
