Anthony's Story
Anthony Deane first started competing on the skeleton international circuit less than 12 months before making his Olympic debut in Vancouver 2010. In the 2009/10 season, Deane posted some consistent results on the America's Cup circuit including two gold medals in Calgary, Canada in December 2009. In Vancouver, Deane finished 23rd overall. Before taking up skeleton, Deane was on the Australian national handball team and also competed for a semi-professional European Club.
