Alice's Story
Skiing internationally since 1994, Alice Jones was on the Australian Team for the Nagano 1998 Games, but at the last minute she suffered a major injury. After two knee reconstructions, she made her Olympic debut four years later at the Salt Lake City Olympic Winter Games. She competed in three alpine skiing events - the Downhill, Super-G and Super Combined. Her best result came in the Super Combined, finishing 12th - one of Australia's best results in Olympic alpine skiing. Jones retired after the Salt Lake City Games.
