Adam Pine attended three Olympic Games. At Sydney 2000, he and Todd Pearson swam in heat of the 4 x 100 metres relay before Ian Thorpe, Michael Klim, Chris Fydler and Ashley Callus shattered another world record in defeating the United States on the first evening of the swimming competition. In the medley relay, Pine, Josh Watson, Ryan Mitchell and Ian Thorpe swam in the heat before Matt Welsh, Regan Harrison, Geoff Huegill and Michael Klim claimed the silver medal behind the United States. At Athens 2004, he swam in the heats of the 100 metres butterfly and the medley relay. The evergreen Pine was back at Beijing 2008, swimming in the heats of the 100 metres butterfly and medley relay. The other heat swimmers in the medley relay were Ashley Delaney, Christian Sprenger and Matt Targett before Hayden Stoeckel, Brenton Rickard, Andrew Lauterstein and Eamon Sullivan collected the silver medal, behind the Americans, in the final.
