Worlds, Four Continents Figure Skaters announced

The Australian skaters who will compete in international competition over the next few months have been announced by Ice Skating Australia.

The Australian skaters who will compete in international competition over the next few months have been announced by Ice Skating Australia.
Ten skaters will take part in the Four Continents competition in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, from January 19-25.
National women’s champion Miriam Manzano will lead a three woman team which also includes Nagano Olympian Joanne Carter and Sarah-Yvonne Prytula.
Three men will also skate in the competition – national men’s champion Bradley Santer, Daniel Harries and Stuart Beckingham – with Natalie Buck/Trent Nelson-Bond and Danika Bourne/Alexandre Pavlov representing their country in Dance.
Miriam Manzano will also represent Australia at the World Figure Skating Championships in Dortmund, Germany, from March 22-28. She will be joined by Bradley Santer in the Men’s and Dance pair Buck and Nelson-Bond.
Selected to compete in the Junior World Championships from March 1-7 in The Hague, Netherlands, are national Ladies champion Emilia Ahsan in Ladies and national Junior Men’s champion Sean Carlow in Men’s with a Dance pair still to be determined.
