Women's basketballers aim for sixth straight medal
The Australian women’s basketball team has made the podium its second home over the past 20 years, medalling in every Olympic Games from 1996 to 2012. With the streak now at five straight medals, this year’s unit is determined to follow in the footsteps of their predecessors.

The Australian Olympic Committee acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of this nation.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of all the lands on which we are located. We pay our respects to ancestors and Elders, past and present.

We celebrate and honour all of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Olympians.
