UNCLE TOBYS, one of Australia’s most recognised sporting sponsorship icons, today announced its Official Partnership of the 2008 Australian Olympic Team participating at next year’s Beijing Olympic Games.

UNCLE TOBYS will proudly display the Olympic ‘Flag and Rings’ logo leading into the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
This logo is prized by the athletes who compete for Australia as Olympians and treasured by the people of Australia. It reflects sportsmanship, personal endeavour and the very best of being Australian.
The 115-year-old UNCLE TOBYS brand has been involved with Australian sport since 1982 and is one of the first companies to integrate nutrition and sport.
In January 2007, the UNCLE TOBYS range of nutritious snacks, breakfast cereals and soups joined the Nestlé Australia family.
“This partnership will continue UNCLE TOBYS’ long-standing involvement with Australian sport and cement UNCLE TOBYS as a vital, healthy, active and responsible Australian brand”, said Ian Alwill, Executive Director - Marketing Communications, Nestlé Australia Ltd.
Whilst the size of the sponsorship investment remains bound by confidentiality, it represents a significant investment from Nestlé into the UNCLE TOBYS brand.
“For many years UNCLE TOBYS breakfast cereal and nutritious snack range has promoted the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and encouraged Australians into sport for good health through its involvement with key athletes,” continued Mr Alwill.
