BIATHLON: Overnight, the IBU Cup 3 Sprint events were held at Obertilliach, AUT.

Of the 108 male competitors in the 10km Sprint, Sochi hopeful Dyllan Harmer finished 76th. Harmer missed just two shots (1+1) and finished 19.1% behind the Russian winner. Being inside 20% behind represents a Sochi qualifying time for Harmer.

Cameron Morton was the next Australian to cross the line in 89th position (2+3) 23.3% behind.

Daniel Walker rounded out the Australians in 97th position (0+3) 26.8% behind.

Australia's lone ranger in the women's 7.5km Sprint had a tough day at the office. Glanville had a tumble and was unable to clear the snow from her rifle, so was unable to finish the race.

The Australians are now moving to Trentino, ITA for the Winter University Games.

The first events there are the men's 20 km Individual race and women's 15 km race which will be live on FISU tv: http://www.livefisu.tv/ tonight at 8:15 pm and 11.15 pm respectively.

Participants include Alex Almoukov, Glanville, Hamish McLean (not in the Shadow Olympic Team) and Walker.
