Swimming – Australian Trials

Aussie swimmers put it all on the line this week at the Australian Trials in Brisbane, Queensland which finish Saturday 15 June. These events are their sole chance to book their tickets to Paris 2024.

With Ariarne Titmus and Mollie O’Callaghan each breaking Mollie’s 2023 world record in the 200m freestyle last night, expect more action from our Aussie swimmers on the final nights of the trials.

Rowing – World Rowing Cup 3

Fifty-two Aussie rowers are competing in Poznan, Poland from Friday 14 - Sunday 16 June at the third and final World Rowing Cup of 2024.

The regatta will determine the overall winner of the 2024 World Rowing Cup Series.

In the women’s, Australia is racing in the single sculls, pair, double scull, the four, quadruple sculls and the eight.

In the men’s, Australia have boats set to take the waters in the pair, double sculls, the four and the eight.

Archery – Final World Qualification Tournament 

Archers have their final shot at securing quota spots for Paris 2024 at the Final World Qualification Tournament in Antalya, Turkey from Friday 14 - Monday 17 June.

Kim Lavender, Laura Paeglis and Sarah Haywood are competing in the women’s recurve events.

The top three men’s and women’s teams who haven’t qualified will earn a quota spot for their country in the respective event.

The top two ranked unqualified teams as of 24 June will also receive a quota, as well as the top two ranked unqualified individuals in the men’s and women’s will earn a quota for their country.

Golf – US Men’s Open

Six Aussie golfers are competing in the US Men’s Open in North Carolina, United States from today 13 June to Sunday 16 June.

Jason Day, Min Woo Lee, Cameron Smith, Cam Davis, Adam Scott and Jason Scrivener are set to take on the competition.
