Diving – Berlin World Cup
A 10-member Australian squad is competing in the second meet of the 2024 Diving World Cup Series in Berlin, Germany from today (Thursday 21 March) to Sunday 24 March.
Included in the squad is 2023 10m platform world champion Cassiel Rousseau, Rio 2016 Olympic bronze medallists Maddison Keeney and Anabelle Smith, two-time world champion Shixin Li, Olympians Nikita Hains, Brittany O'Brien, Domonic Bedggood and more.

The first events begin tonight with the women’s 3m springboard 8pm AEDT and men’s 10m platform 11:30pm AEDT.

Wrestling – Oceania & Africa Olympic Qualifying Tournament
Wrestlers from Oceania and African continents will come together in Egypt for a Paris 2024 Olympic Qualifying Tournament from Friday 22 – Sunday 24 March.
It is the penultimate chance for wrestlers to qualify for Paris 2024, with 18 Olympic quota spots up for grabs. The top two place getters per each Olympic division at this event earn a quota for Paris 2024.
Ten Aussies will take on the best from both continents, eight in the freestyle events and two in Greco-Roman events.
Representing Australia in the women’s field are Juliana Valencia Velez (women's 50kg), Jessica Lavers McBain (women's 53kg), Irene Symeonidis (women's 57kg) and Nachi Masuda (women's 62kg).
Four Aussie men are in freestyle (Georgii Okorokov - 65kg, Ethan Thomas - 74kg, Jayden Alexander Lawrence - 86kg and Thomas Barns - 97kg) with two in Greco-Roman (Ando Lehtmets - 67kg and Sheng Zhang - 77kg).

Cycling – Mountain Bike & BMX Freestyle – Oceania Championships
Across two big days in Brisbane this weekend, Oceania’s best mountain bikers and BMX freestylers will put on a show in the 2024 Oceania Championships.
Starting with the men’s and women’s mountain bikers on Mount Cotton this Saturday and shifting to The Village Indoor Skatepark on Sunday where the men’s and women’s BMX freestyle Oceania champions will be crowned. Both are free events for fans to attend.

Judo – Tbilisi Grand Slam
Katharina Haecker, Maeve Coughlan and Aoife Coughlan are representing Australia in Georgia for the Tbilisi Grand Slam.
Starting tomorrow (Friday 22 March), Katharina and Maeve will both compete in the women’s -63kg event. Aoife is set to compete in the women’s -73kg discipline.

Artistic & Rhythmic Gymnastics – World Cup Series
Rhythmic
Six Australian rhythmic gymnasts will be competing in the opening leg of the 2024 World Cup Series in Cottbus, Germany from Friday 22 – Sunday 24 March.

The FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Athens, Greece gets underway from Friday 22 – Sunday 24 March.

Sailing – Formula Kite Euros
Paris 2024 Australian Olympic Team member Breiana Whitehead is leading the charge at the Formula Kite Euros in Spain, currently sitting in 19th position.
Competition continued Thursday, with fellow Australians Hector Paturau, Scott Whitehead and Oscar Timm are also in action currently sitting in 33rd, 53rd and 68th respectively.

The final two days of the regatta will take place this Saturday 23 March and Sunday 24 March.

Tennis – Miami Open
Fifteen Aussie athletes are competing in Miami, United States in the ATP 1000 and WTA 1000 from 19-31 March.
Coming up in the men’s singles first round, Alexei Popyrin is set to take on Argentina’s Facunda Diaz Acosta, whilst Aleksander Vukic is up against Spain's Roberto Carballes Baene. Meanwhile Adam Walton, who has qualified for his first ATP Masters main draw after winning the final stage of Miami qualifying, will make his debut against Felix Auger-Aliassime (CAN).
Chris O’Connell, Alex de Minaur and Jordan Thompson have each progressed to the second round.
In the women’s singles second round, Daria Saville is ready to take on Ukraine’s Dayana Yastremska, while Strom Hunter is up against Emma Navarro from the USA.
The top world ranked men’s doubles pair of Matt Ebden and Rohan Bopanna (IND) are up against the Italian pair of Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori in the first round, whilst John Peers and Harri Heliovaara (FIN) are set to take on Marcelo Arevalo (ESA) and Mate Pavic (CRO).
Alex de Minaur is teaming up with Rinky Hijikata to take on fellow Aussie Thanasi Kokkinakis and Stefanos Tsitsipas (GRE). While Australia's Max Purcell and Jordan Thompson will take on Ariel Bhear (URU) and Adam Pavlasek (CZE).
In the women’s doubles Storm Hunter and her Czech partner Katerina Siniakova are ready to take on China’s Wang Xinyu and Zheng Saisai in the first round, whilst Ellen Perez and Nicole Melichar-Martinez (USA) are up against Veronika Kudermetova and Anastacia Potapova.

Golf – LPGA & PGA Tour
Tokyo 2020 Olympian Hannah Green will be Australia’s highest-ranked golfer taking to the opening round of the LPGA season in California, USA this Friday morning (AEDT).
Her first event since winning the women’s World Championship in Singapore, the world no.20 will be joined by seven Aussie women playing in the Fir Hills Seri Pak Championship.

Over in Florida, Min Woo Lee is one of four Aussie men playing on the PGA Tour tomorrow morning.

Surfing – Bells Beach Pro
The World Championship Tour comes from Portugal to Australia for the Bells Beach Pro, starting on Tuesday 26 March through to Friday 5 April.
Ethan Ewing and Tyler Wright are the defending champions at Bells Beach, where Tyler has an opportunity to win the event for the third year in a row.
