Canoe Slalom - 2024 Oceania Championships
Australia's canoe slalom paddlers will return to Penrith Whitewater Stadium across the long weekend for the 2024 Canoe Slalom Oceania Championships, with the last opportunity to qualify another Australian men's canoe paddler for the Paris Olympics.
World Cup 2023 team members Tristan Carter, Kaylen Bassett and Mark Crosbee are earmarked as top contenders in the competition. Jessica Fox, who has already secured her selection on the 2024 Australian Olympic Team, will headline the women's kayak and canoe events.
Tim Anderson and dual Olympian Lucien Delfour will go head to head in the men's kayak vying for Olympic nomination, after Tim earnt Australia's men's kayak quota at the 2023 World Championships.
Athletes will also take on the rapids and each other in the Kayak Cross event on Sunday afternoon, which is set to make its debut on the Olympic program in Paris.

Sailing - 2024 ILCA 7 World Championships and iQFOiL World Championships
Australia's world-renowned ILCA 7 squad have the chance to prove their standing against the very best at the 2024 World Championships in Adelaide from Wednesday 24 January to Wednesday 31 January.
Olympic and World champion Matt Wearn leads an in-form Australian squad with fellow Aussies Luke Elliott, Ethan McAullay (6th at 2023 European Championships), Finn Alexander (10th at 2023 European Championships) and Zac Littlewood (5th at 2021 World Championships) all ones to watch as the week progresses.
They make up a strong field that includes 28 Australian entries, five past ILCA 7 world champions and another five World Championship medallists.

iQFOiL World Championships
Australia's iQFOiL sailors are competing in their World Championships at Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, starting on Friday 26th January.
Samantha Costin is flying the Aussie flag in the women's event, while Grae Morris, Jarrod Jones and Harry Joyner will all contest the men's event.

Rugby 7s - Rugby Sevens Series Perth
Our Aussie Rugby 7s teams are headed to Perth for the third round of the Rugby Sevens Series from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th January.
The men's team is up against the United States of America, Great Britain and Ireland in their pool games, whilst the women will take on South Africa, Great Britain and Canada.
The women's team has won the first two rounds of the series and are currently on top of the ladder heading into the third round, whilst the men's team are coming off a grand final loss to Argentina and are sitting in sixth overall in the standings.

Tennis - Australian Open
Two Aussies remain in the Australian Open as the tournament enters its final few days this weekend.
World no. 1 doubles player Storm Hunter and her partner Katerina Siniakova (CZE) are through to the semi-finals against world ranked no. 2 Elise Mertens (BEL) and her partner Su-Wei Hsieh (TWN).
Matt Ebden and his men's doubles partner Rohan Bopanna (IND) are also through to the semi-finals against Zhizhen Zang (CHN) and Tomas Machac (CZE).

Judo - Portugal Grand Prix
The world's best judokas converge on Odivelas, Portugal for the first Grand Prix of the year.
Tokyo Olympians Aoife Coughlan and Katharina Haecker headline the six-strong Australian team, with Anneliese Fielder, Tink Easton, Maeve Coughlan and Maria Swan all suiting up for the competition from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th January.

Golf - San Diego Open & Drive On Championship
PGA and LPGA Tour action sees a handful of Aussies competing across California and Florida.
Top ranked Aussie men's golfer Jason Day, world no.18, and Min Woo Lee, world no.36, have completed their first round at the San Diego Open, sitting +2 (T-138th) and even (T-90th) respectively at the Torrey Pines South Course.
Two of our women's golfers, Grace Kim and Sarah Kemp will tee off at the LPGA Drive On Championship near Tampa on Friday at 12:09am AEDT and Sarah Kemp at 12:31am AEDT respectively.
